How to change your airdrop name? Quick steps

On an iPhone or iPad, you can change your AirDrop name by following these steps:

1. Open the “Settings” app

2. Tap on your name at the top of the screen

3. Tap on “Name and Photo”

4. Enter your new name, then tap “Done”

On a Mac, you can change your AirDrop name by following these steps:

1. Click on the Apple icon in the top left corner of the screen

2. Click on “System Preferences”

3. Click on “Sharing”

4. Under the “Computer Name” section, enter a new name for your Mac

5. Close the System Preferences window

Keep in mind that, this will change the computer name and not only the airdrop name, but it will be reflected on the airdrop name too.
